Storyline:

Carlos Galindo (Demián Bichir), a Mexican illegal immigrant and veteran Los Angeles day laborer, has trouble connecting with his son, Luis (José Julián), whose gang-affiliated girlfriend is tempting him to ignore his father’s example of clean living.
